By increasing the coil wind on the Vintage, we came up with a more robust pickup that added output and low end while maintaining the clarity of the original single coil design, so if you like the feel of you Tele Bass, but wish it had a fuller, ballsier tone, this is the pickup for you. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for an American Standard Single Coil Precision Bass. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Hot for Single Coil P-Bass uses hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets, Forbon flatwork, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal free performance.’
